Chicago to Iowa City – 11-05-11

I caught a 6:30 AM flight from Denver to Chicago O’hare Airport then drove out to meet my brothers. ┬áThe three of us took off for Iowa City after lunch. Had dinner with my nephew Bob and am now watching the LSU/Alabama football game.

  1. Hey John! I’m watchin’ the Bama-LSU game myself. If you plan to chase Gray Partridge near Boise, Idaho, there was a very reliable spot about 30 minutes from the Boise airport. The Avimor community is a new development in the Boise foothills. I used to live and work there a year ago. There is a spot we called the Chinese Well Riparian area where I would see Gray Partridge most every time I went there. They are usually along the hillside on the left of the old dirt road.
