Linda and I are leaving for Costa Rica Thursday evening, Nov. 21. We were invited to a destination wedding in Tamarindo, which is one of the main beach areas in the North Pacific that Americans and Europeans journey to for vacation. We’ll stay there for five nights than visit the Arenal area for four nights followed by two nights near Carara NP. After that Linda returns home and I “go deep” for four nights at the Costa Rican Amphibian Research Center on the Caribbean slope east of San Jose.
If all goes well, there will be some photos of birds, mammals and herps for you to look at
Have fun on your trip! I did a birding trip to Costa Rica this past Summer, visited both Arenal and Carara. Both had great birds! One of the highlights around Carara NP was a Black-and-white Owl at Cerro Lodge, apparently an almost nightly visitor to the lodge.
Have a great trip!
OK, looking forward to some pictures!
