LLano Estero Grande State Park

Today was a great birding day in The Valley.  White-throated Thrush, Tropical Parula

Tropical Parula at LLano Estero Grande SP

Two Tropical Kingbirds with their twittering pip-pip-pip-pip call appeared to be paired up all ready.  These were followed by most of the other Valley specialties as well.  Tomorrow we try for a Crimson-collared Grosebeak at Allan Williams’ house.  My year list is now up to 263. Is 300 a possibility by the time I leave Texas?
