Rosy Finches- Yeah, baby!!!!

It was nice to tick both Spotted Towhee and W. Scrub- Jay at Bill’s yard. The feeders in Divide, CO were a great success. Over 200 Rosy Finches. 150 were Gray-crowned, approximately 50 Brown-capped (some of which were unidentifiable immatures) and one adult Black Rosy Finch that Bill first spotted!!

The afternoon was spent at Red Rocks where we saw three of the four “fab four” Golden-crowned Sparrow, White-throated Sparrow and Curve-billed Thrasher.
